FBI investigates painter for being suspected Iranian intelligence agent

I revealed that FBI agents were executing search  warrants in the Ann Arbor area to investigate whether a man who planned to kill a California radio broadcaster was working as an Iranian intelligence agent. Iran alleged the group targeted in California, Tondar, was a terrorist organization responsible for a bombing in Iran. Tondar denied being a terrorist group.

Months after my article came out, Sadeghnia showed up in a U.S. embassy cable released by the whistleblower website Wikileaks.
